Kaplan Gore begins investigation of Intel 13th and 14th-Generation Processors

Kaplan Gore, has begun investigating a possible class action against Intel Corp for its sale of potentially defective 13th and 14th Generation Desktop Processors. Intel's CPUs. Intel's latest generation of personal computer desktop CPUs are the "brains" of personal computers. Intel is the market leader in these CPUs and its 13th and 14th generation processors are its best and most powerful.

Unfortunately, reports of instabilities with these processors have been posted on enthusiast forums since as early as January 2024. In July 2024, Intel finally put out an advisory that it had determined that elevated operating voltage is causing instability issues in 13th and14th-Gen desktop processors. Intel has promised a fix, but, as many technology websites have reported, elevated voltages causing the processor to operate outside of safe boundaries can cause irreversible degradation. These are extremely expensive components and without them, a personal computer will not function.

If you have purchased an Intel 13th or 14th gen. processor, either separately in order to build a personal computer yourself, or as part of a pre-built machine, please complete an inquiry form by going to our Intel 13th and 14th Gen. Investigation page
